Edit language translations in team-managed service projects

You can edit the translations of a language if you want to add your own content. This includes translations of request type labels, help center messages, and customer notifications.

You must be an admin to edit languages.

To edit a language:

  1. Next to your service project’s name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Project settings.

  2. Select Language support.

  3. Select the name of a language in the table.

  4. Select content to edit in the sidebar.

Email templates and customer notifications can’t be edited if you are on a Free plan of Jira Service Management.

To access these features, upgrade your plan and complete the evaluation period. If you need to enable the feature during your evaluation period, contact Atlassian support.

4. Edit translations as needed.
5. Select Save.

We group your translations into sections; use the service project sidebar to switch between them. For most sections, your default language appears in the left column and the translated texts on the right.
